Fly to GVT or 6R6 (I'd pick 6R6 myself, smaller and lower fees) and call me. Bring fishing equipment if you want to try to catch some fish.

ok that's a bet. but fees? if i buy fuel there shouldn't i be waived of fees? (too tired to look right now)

Usually. I haven't flown here yet so I can't be sure, but the usual thing is to waive landing fees if you fuel. Parking may be a different story at the larger airport. Some smaller airports let you have the transient ramp spot overnight before charging you. Others don't even notice or care. I once parked at an airport that must have had all of four planes there to wait out weather. No one even noticed I was there. In the morning, I continued on, no charge!

Tell me when you're coming and I will research the issue for ya.

alright. either airport is cool with me. whichever one is closer for you.

BrianR 02-14-2011 06:59 PM

6R6 then. It's about fifteen minutes closer.

plthijinx 02-14-2011 07:33 PM

100LL - $5.10/gal. freakin ouch.

BrianR 02-15-2011 10:59 AM

wow. just wow.

I miss my flying club. The same fuel cost me $2 a gallon after the MWR subsidy. It helps that the Navy uses that same fuel for some of their planes (C-20s?) and thus gets it in bulk cheaper.

I am thinking that 20 Aug would be a good day to have this thing. For those of you who are flying in the La Crosse Municipal Airport is rite up the street there is a motel up the street also. The Days Hotel of La Crosse. Please PM me if you are coming so I will know how many people to plan on.

We need a rocky mountain regional gtg. There are several of us in this state, now, aren't there?

plthijinx 02-17-2011 06:02 PM
