naturalization stats. in case anyone care. I didn't see any whiteys in the image but found it odd that we would be so much in the minority. So I looked up the stats. |

Hebe got bored too. But she was all right when she quit around 50. Her teacher would be proud

Wikipedia on Selective Service. Apparently there was a five-year period when it wasn't in effect.

Only one wrong, and I was close on that one.

94 of 96 ... I'm actually suprised. I was never much for history or civics on a large scale, although I know quite a bit about local history. My Mother's father was a local Selectman (think head of a town council) in the 1930s and his father fought with the 21st Connecticut Volunteers in the Civil War. Guess the educational system was good for something.

I got my 58.
Took me until 67 to get there though - it was too slow for me to bother carrying on. I got hammered by a slew of questions with numbers in them - I have a reasonably good grasp of American history, and a middling understanding of politics (for a furriner) but don't be asking me questions about how many Senators and how long they serve for. Numbers. Urgh. |
96 out of 96. (luckily the back button works.)
oops! Did I say that out loud? |

Why 96 questions? Couldn't they come up with just four more?
|
Because the test was created by a committee.
