Scientific American answers the really difficult question: why is the human peen shaped so weird like that, particularly when other monkeys have smaller units?

Answer: a mushroom top helps vacuum out the spooge left in the vag by any other guys who've made a recent deposit.

This combined with the fact that human ejaculate is expelled with great force and considerable distance (up to two feet if not contained), suggests that men are designed to release sperm into the uppermost portion of the vagina possible.
