Except for the last sentence ... I concur. I have met some of the most amazingly wonderful people in recent months and those whom I should have known and expected to be assholes ... were. Why I thought they might have changed? Dunno, Guess I'm just schtupit.

I am reading Koont's The Darkest Evening of the year. It's about dogs and burning.

The horror of its reality disturbs me greatly.

In a novel we could hope for and probably get a satisfactory ending. :(
