You are entirely too cool.
I fear power tools. |
I covet the wooden kayak, but i would be afear'd to float it. plastic scraping along the bottom of the creek is no big deal.....that would be horrifying in a wooden one.

That's when you need wood so hard you can't scrape it.

Gorgeous boat V.... really, that's pretty awesome.
I love my boat. It's a 14ft Perception Monteray. It's fast. Has a lot of stickers but doesn't have a name. http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL162.../320600045.jpg |
My boat is named after me...or at least my childhood nickname
Family nickname I guess, since they still call me by it :D PHOTOS TO COME THIS SUMMER WHEN I GET TO SEE IT AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MANY MANY YEARS YAY |

Never occurred to me to name mine.
The design is a Mill Creek 13, by CLC. But I made a few minor design changes when I built it, so it's a variation on a Mill Creek 13. |
Hey V, that's some awesome woodwork. Is that lake Sammamish in the second photo?
|
Wow, between BigV and Glatt, I'm feeling neglectful. When did the memo go out that we were supposed to build a boat?
|
Building them is the easy part. Naming them is much more difficult. That's why they 'forgot' to do so. :right:
|
Cool kayaks. We have a sit-on-top sea kayak, I sold one last year, and a Old Town 16.4 canoe that is in beautiful condition but I have been unable to sell. We had lots of fun with them when our kids were little. I don't think we ever named them.

I need a second armadillo, does anyone have one? I need a female. |
If you get the female, will you still need the second armadillo?
