Over here you can get bubbles that have some kind of fixative in them so that they don't pop. They actually set on the surface they land on.
They're pretty cool for little kids to play with sometimes (or big kids like me). Best to do it outside though. They tend to leave marks on furniture etc. Do you have them where you are? |
yeah, Gymboree sells some like that, I'm sure other places do too

Have shown the thread to cow orkers. Our plan is to try this the next night it seems cold enough, after someone has shown sufficient initiative to actually go out and buy bubbles.
I had other errands today (French Toast Conspiracy™, we might get a small bit of wintry preciptation tomorrow) and didn't have time to make it to the Walgreens. |
It's not cold enough yet.
Yes, tried at work. |

-12°C, what, are you out of your mind? We're never going to get that, not even with a really good windchill.
The cow orkers and I were considering driving to Maine last night, because they were at -28°F. |

We tried it last night when it was about -21C and were disappointed. But the hot water thing rocked....
|
Did you mouth blow them or arm swing them? I understand the mouth blown take longer to freeze.
