Looks good, no math prerequisite (whew!). Might fit my schedule, I'll have to see if I can fit it in next quarter.

And what does that prof look like? :haha:

Juniper 10-01-2008 11:42 PM

Why, are you jealous or sumpin'?

The prof that teaches that course in winter quarter is a lady, and I am very straight, thanx. :D

I think it might be a good choice, based on ratemyprofessors.com -- someone who says "everyone has their pet peas" managed an A+. There may be hope for me, too.

Heh. Pet peas. I'm going to giggle about that for a while.

My insanity: went to bed at 7pm so I could recover from my insane week, and set my alarm for 3am (now) so I could go finish writing my paper that's already now 3 days late. Awesome.

Sorry, Razz. That stinks. Hope you're done by now!

I have to go take a poetry exam today. Anapestic tetrameter with metonomy vs. synecdoche, and all that.

Cross your fingers for me! You could cross your toes too, if you're sitting, but it's hard to walk that way.

:strokes goatee beard:

Hmmm, some very interesting metaphysical undertones there, contrasting juxtapositioning of the differential archetypical monotypes zeugmatically tranpositing to emphatic alliterative affirmations of phallocentric certainty of the subject/object dichotomy.

That had better get me laid.

Trilby 10-02-2008 12:46 PM

It will, Zen, it will.

wait...is "zeugmatically" a cromulent word?

Juniper 10-02-2008 01:33 PM

Zeugma: A construction in which a single word, especially a verb or an adjective, is applied to two or more nouns when its sense is appropriate to only one of them or to both in different ways, as in He took my advice and my wallet.

Nifty word!
