Teenager drama. There's a reason why you want to go to college and get AWAY from High School drama. Because it's petty, silly, and downright stupid.

Correct. And maybe, if you don't already have one, a part-time job somewhere that hires people around your age Ib. You're a nice looking kid. That's always a plus when looking to find someone.

Can't get a job - you have to be 18 to get a work permit, and I'm a lao wai (ferriner) anyway, so that's out.


On the other hand... I asked the wonderful wonderful girl who lives downstairs (who is the ONLY person i've ever met, my age, who can hold their own in music trivia with me) if she wanted to grab dinner saturday night, and she said she'd see about it... but that's better than a no, and she sounded fairly positive towards the idea. Wish me luck?
(the only thing is, even if she says yes... i'm not sure she realizes I meant it as a date. oh well... maybe it'll work out.)

thats a good thing! ten there is no pressure and you can let things flow naturally without all the pressure.

Ibby, you're a good guy. Don't think you have to be with someone just to be with someone. Doing that is a sure way of not finding the right person.
