Went to the doc yesterday and according to her I'm about 5 weeks gone and the little bit of spotting is nothing to worry about. Good to know. Still a bit worried about it though. I suppose that's natural. Not much that can be done even if things do go down the shitter (so to speak) anyway though, so I should just stop worrying.

Hope you really have had your mind put at rest. Semantics aside, you're quite right - nothing you can do but be sensible and let nature take its course. Despite all my feelings to the contrary, this is what we were designed for after all.

FWIW, before I knew I was pg, (wasn't trying) I just thought I was having a very light period. The spotting was nothing serious.
