You thought it might happen with the boys away didn't you?

Congrats to you and Big D!

This means my trip is no longer an option mate. I'm very sad about that, but I don't want to travel OS alone, but I will get there. I swear to you from me!

I guessed that, but didn't want to bring it up while you're still in the first flush of celebration! Not to worry, life gets in the way of the best plans. I'm just glad it's because of something longed for.

Wonderful news, Ali! Congratulations! May your term be peaceful and full of hopeful, happy memories!

Congratulations, good luck and all that!

Now, which thread will we be naming the little tyke from:
Alternative
or
Cruel?

Aliantha 07-27-2008 04:18 PM

Not cruel, possibly alternative. We have about 8 months to decide though, so there's no rush. :)

Thanks again to all of you who've wished us well.

SG, I guess these things happen. Maybe I'll come this time next year instead...and bring my little bundle with me. lol We'll see.

TheMercenary 07-28-2008 07:55 AM

You'd both be welcome. I love children as long as their other people's.

Congratulations! :)

Aliantha 07-29-2008 12:06 AM

thanks guys.

Went to the doc yesterday and according to her I'm about 5 weeks gone and the little bit of spotting is nothing to worry about. Good to know. Still a bit worried about it though. I suppose that's natural. Not much that can be done even if things do go down the shitter (so to speak) anyway though, so I should just stop worrying.

Oof, Ali! :headshake
Hope you really have had your mind put at rest. Semantics aside, you're quite right - nothing you can do but be sensible and let nature take its course. Despite all my feelings to the contrary, this is what we were designed for after all.

Congrats, I hope pregnancy treats you well!

FWIW, before I knew I was pg, (wasn't trying) I just thought I was having a very light period. The spotting was nothing serious.

Elspode 07-29-2008 07:43 PM

Good for you, Ali! And best of all, it was fun trying for two years, wasn't it? :D
