it is in the long term. i haven't looked at it lately, but it is built for stability. unless the management team has changed i see no reason why that should change.

So I'm 29 now an this is my retirement plan so far... If, by the age of 60, Armageddon has not happened, there is no zombie breakout, I've not been gunned down behind my bar, or turned into road paste by a cager on a cell phone, I'm kinda screwed. I ask any finance savvy folk, when is too late? An what is a solid simple plan for someone with a... variable income? Humor my ignorance.

The sooner you start, the easier it is.

yesterday would have been better than today which is definitely better than tomorrow. You're only 29 and you'll be working for another 30 years. Start socking what you can away now. If self employed ask an advisor about SEP IRA's. A nice balanced fund would be a good place to start.

Let's see:
Work work work work work work die. Yep, my plan's still as good as it ever was. |
scf, pls. Don't want choke and fast forward to the end of the plan...

As long as you are buying shares of quality companies then you are doing a good thing. Tell yourself whatever you need to keep going.

Honestly, I have no plan.

I plan on being a natural gas baroness. Hope it works out...:queen:
Plan B is that my kids will be rich and I'll just glom off of them. |
I'm hedging everything on a chain of beeper stores. Everyone knows that technology is cyclical.

Do you think the dot-org bubble is coming soon?
