Spot on man! I can't drink a 12-pack of Bud Light in one sitting anymore, can't run on less than 4 hours of sleep a night, and had to quit hanging with my group of friends from high school--b/c they still wanted to live like we were 18. :)
A lot of people would never think that my fiance (Rhoda--ladysycamore here on the Cellar) is going to be 33 in 3 weeks. She doesn't *know* what 30 is supposed to feel like...it's a foreign concept to her. And I don't know what 26 is supposed to feel like. I think that it's part individual and part societal. Rho and I try to keep a healthy balance. We're trying to look to our future and set goals, yet keep the inner child. :)
Hopefully I've already contributed something to the world, be it through the words I've spoken to people, my website, this blog, my poetry, whatever. But I'm greedy...I want to do more. I want to see my name emblazoned on a park or street sign someday. Now if that doesn't happen, it's cool...and I can do without the park or street. :) But I still feel like I've got a lot of work to do and I'm trying to get to it.
