Now I feel like a putz. I am truely sorry Radar. My daughter got to meet her great-grandfather at her great-grandmother's funeral. She was only 3 weeks old when my grandmother died, and it broke my heart terribly that my grandma didn't get to see her in person.

I don't mean to belittle your loss in any way, but it seems that quite a few of that generation have just made it through the Winter and died in the Spring. My Great Aunt, Sun Sparks Nan, your Grandmother, Shawnee's has been taken into hospital... At work too, a couple of the artists have mentioned the recent passing of someone of that generation.

It's a sad time.

I begged her to move away from upstate NY for years. We all did. We wanted her to move where it was more warm, but she wouldn't have it. She said Poughkeepsie was her home. Those winters are brutal.
