I guess I was thinking "Died at birth." I see your point.

butbutbut... you would "kill" a baby?
eh, maybe i just misinterpreted the thread. or maybe i'm just a smartass. take your pick. |
Did anyone see Chapelle's show "black gallagher"? Hilarious!!!
Ummm...Please don't name current, living, high profile, political figures folks....You don't want any trouble because of a trifle statement on an internet message board do you? Call me paranoid...and I am...let's just be cautious in our approach here. Even if it is a hypothetical question! :) I can't think of anyone but an obvious Hitler right now...maybe I'll have a better answer later.... Great topic and nice to meet you! :D Oh and lets not forget how many things and lives telephones have saved? When I inevitably have a heart attack I'll want one. |
Thomas Midgley, Jr.
Who? You know, they guy who developed both the tetra-ethyl lead (TEL) additive to gasoline and chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs)! Yep, leaded petrol and CFCs, from one guy! To be fair, if he hadn't come up with these, probably someone else would have. Although he fought strongly to deny the obvious harmful effects of lead. He died in 1944, killed by one of his own inventions - strangled by the ropes of his "bed-assist device" which was meant to ease his sleep after he suffered polio. |

Lee Harvey Oswald. What would have happened? We can't change squat. Maybe JFK would have been great or had a Watergate. Cecil Rhodes was a man of his time he could not do any different. And Zengum, how do you know that stuff?

ZenGum PO Box 7575757577557775 Hapan, Japan I wouldn't kill anyone but I would like to have stifled a few. I guess anyone who felt it OK to slaughter Native Americans, and rape and pillage. I hate pillaging. It needs to be stopped. |
Actually, I wouldn't eliminate anyone. There is no one that is 100% bad or 100% good.
No one likes Adolph Hitler (Shickelgruber) but even though he was history's biggest evildoer, not ALL of his reign was bad... Under Hitler, the Autobahn was created, jet aircraft were mass produced for the first time, technology (albeit war tech) accelerated rapidly, the atom was split for the first time. These were good things. But also it cost the lives of some 11 million prisoners, including about six million Jews. Millions more died needlessly from the fighting. The telephone was mentioned. Good or bad? Yes, it's annoying. But it has saved countless lives, brought people across the world closer together. Also interrupted untold dinners and showers and relaxing baths. But it is not ALL bad. President Bush isn't all bad either. Perhaps not the best, but I think he's the right man in the right pace at the right time. President Gore wouldn't have done a damn thing but bluster the talk and we would be living with regular attacks now. OK, Pol Pot hasn't made a positive contribution that I know of, but I don't know everything either. The point is: no one in history (or now) is ALL bad and deserving of being erased from history. |
My ex husband right after I got pregnant

can't interfere between a husband and wife, though!
|
you are assuming he did anything post imprenation to interfere with, other than punching me frequently

I don't think anyone's going to come knocking on my door anyway. I'm pretty sure they'd read this thread, then read the rest of my posts and realize I'm just some dopey liberal looney from the land of idiots and realize the only person I'm a threat to is myself. ;) Senior or Junior. I don't mind which btw. |
