They both seemed to like me very much personally, especially the first guy. I think if I were wearing jeans & a t-shirt, I'd have done better.

Nope. That's just no. People don't show up to interviews that way. The employer wants the automatic respect. I never let anyone get hired that showed up looking like a casual scum-bag that didn't care enough to make the appearance. I worked at a casual place where jeans and t-shirts were standard, when I was a hiring manager, and I think you did the right thing by making an appropriate choice for an interview.

I hope they just call you......

Shit Radar, how frustrating. And Vivien sounds like a class A bitch.

I feel really bad for the girls that work for her. She beats them up all the time. One of them is turning into a younger version of her.

Write the guy a letter telling him you are sorry for wasting his time by botching the interview out of nervousness.

Good idea. Everyone knows interviews are one of the most nervewracking things to try and do. Good interviewers usually take that into account.

If you really want this job, change your shoes and call the guy back. Let him know that you feel like you didn't represent yourself well, and that you would like a second chance. If you were flustered because this was really important to you, let him know why you want the job so much and why you feel you are the best candidate for it despite your lousy interviewing skills ;) .

What have you got to lose? Good luck!

I agree, did it once and got the second interview. Honestly don't remember if I got the job, did a lot of interviews in LA. I do remember blowing the interview and getting the second one though.
It was just a really bad day and I prepared for a different job type.
I was honest with them and they were cool about it.
