Back when I lived in Leicester the cashier in my local store fumbled the £2 coin I gave her and it rolled under the chiller. She was completely unapologetic and seemed surprised when I enquired about pursuing it. Hey - it's £2! I was only buying a pint of milk. Anyway, she was all shruggy and disinclined to help, so I lay on the floor and set to with my umbrella.

Ha! Lucky for me and unlucky for her! There was another pound coin under there and I seem to remember a 20p and 50p. I definitely came out of the shop with more than I went in, even after buying the milk.

Well, I'm not sure if I should feel clever or guilty about how I figured this one out, but here it is:

So, I was driving to work trying to think of ideas when I passed one of those clothes donation bins that was overflowing with clothes. There were about two boxes just sitting outside of the damn thing and not a person in sight. Now, ordinarily it wouldn't of even crossed my mind, but when I was homeless (long ass story) I used to clean these bins out and sell the clothes at consignment shops for a pretty good chunk of change. So, I took a few shirts that looked to be in good condition, went down the street to one of the consignments and made about $7. I didn't even have to scrape under a vending machine.

Yeah, when you grow up really poor you get bad habits. Well, when you're evil and you grow up really poor.

Couch cushion, teenager's clothes or anywhere he's been, car seats, under furniture, in the laundry area, outside convenience stores, around newspaper racks.

Hm, maybe. I have a decent enough IQ and really I make enough money, I'm just really involved in paying off back debt now so I very rarely have any cash anymore.

By mid November I should be out of the hole, though. Then I can work on my death ray made out of aluminum cans and loose change.
