Hey, maybe that guy bought it...out of the trunk of a car... in the alley behind the bar... at 3 AM... in good faith.

What's strange is why does some thief show up sans clothes?? This is weird. I'd start packin if it was my Mac stolen by this A-hole.

The picture was taken after the guy stole it, that is him using the computer in his seedy home.

Update: Dude turned himself in

The man also contacted Global BC on Tuesday, telling the station he did not know the computer was stolen and that he had bought it from a friend who had bought it from someone else.

First name basis with a lawyer.......(must go to court a lot):D

In the call to Global BC, he said he wanted to clear his name and that he has a legitimate day job as a bodyguard. (That reeks of a legitimate occupation):headshake

You beat me to it--the guy's from my city. I had a chuckle when I saw the same picture in the Times Colonist yesterday.

He looks really familiar, but I don't know if it's because I'd seen him all over the web, or else I know him from somewhere...

He's not on a first name basis with a lawyer... He was probably hunted down by the ambulance chasing shark.
