Recently, I did a similar evaluation of many of the current offerings, including a generous hosting offer by UT. But the software fee for vBulletin was a deal breaker.

I came to the conclusion that the pricing of vBulletin is out of touch with the current market. It's like charging $35 for Netscape when IE is free. It can't continue.
