DE is where the credit cards companies are--because that state allow the credit cards to set interest rates up to about, oh, 100 times the constant e in percent.

And PA actually expects you to pay tax on stuff you buy out of state...IIRC, it's like a 1% usage tax or some shit like that.

PA use tax is the full 6%. It's for businesses to pay tax on items they bought tax free for resale, but ended up using themselves in the course of their business.

You may be right about the law saying PA residents are supposed to voluntarily pay tax on out of state purchases, it's just not "use" tax.

Apparently, they do consider it a use tax in PA.

Ah, my bad... I stand corrected. They have expanded the "use" tax definition.

I wonder how many people actually pay it...I suspect almost no consumers, but don't know about businesses.

Is that different for businesses located in one state delivering goods or services to consumers in another?
