It would go a long way if he were to go and fight like his loyal future subjects.
mercy: What would the compliment to that be? That is, what do you think the consequences would/should/could be were he to choose not to serve/fight?
It's fairly unlikely he'll ever be on the throne. Both his father and brother would have to die for that to happen.
He's not going and apparently very disappointed.

Good. He shouldn't go. As mentioned above, he would be a liability.
it's not fair to the soldiers in his unit, he is increasing the risk to their lives as well as his own.
It's far too dangerous for both him and his men for him to go. He would be targeted. If the insurgents got hold of him it would be an absolute disaster. It's been mentioned that other Royal Family members have served in combat before, such as Prince Andrew in the Falklands, but the difference is that the Argentinians were unlikely to have beheaded him on video if he had been captured. It's been reported today that he won't go, and then later that he will go, so who knows?
If I remember the article correctly, those are all some of the reasons they are not sending him
Hmm, it seems the story I read about him going has since been removed, and all that is there says he isn't going, so I guess right now he isn't. That's good.
Perhaps it's all part of the disinformation campaign?
He's gonna "Prince and the Pauper" his way into the war!
He's not going and I agree with the decision.
I can understand his disappointment, but dems de breaks |
