Oh, I know, I know:
Things to do with the old west? Oh, this isn't $10,000 Pyramid? Sorry...:o |
If you own the film and are using the images to just make your own wallpaper and not sell it in any way, that is fair use and not stealing in any way, even if you let a friend use it for their wallpaper and not putting it out there for the general public...
We have gotten far too shitty about this paranoia crap, like being ok with buying books that you can only use on one PC. It is fine to screen shot the damn thing and loan it to a friend... just like loaning a book you buy to a friend. Not letting you take the book you purchased with you is stealing from you, not the other way around. It is stealing from them only if you are making it public domain, selling it or using it for profitable environments (like your web-page or bar wall). |
Chances are the problem is caused by YV12 overlay or similar. I had this problem using YV12 overlay, I would take a screen cap but the area of the video would simply be an empty black space.
Try disabling your overlay features when you want to take a screen cap. |
my computers have never captured anything using shift/cntrl prntscrn button.
@ SundaeGirl There are many free and free trail programs out there that will do the job. My favorite is snagit since it has a few other artsy features. You can use it on a trial. There are others just google them.:) |

QUOTE] Use Alt & Print Screen, simultaneously. That's how I capture Flash images. ;) |
