Stop it....just fucking stop it.

Now y´all listen to the man, will ya?

Probably I´ve missed a lot lately, but this thread is fcuking pathetic...

i know i missed a whole mess of stuff this year, but wasn't marichiko banned at one point?

marichiko 12-10-2006 03:18 PM

Yeah, I was; and there was this big discussion about it, and I guess enough people didn't feel that I should be banned, so Tony unbanned me. I really don't know what I did wrong, but its his board and he could always ban me again, rather than implying that he will never again post to his own board as long as I post to it.

Cheers for xoxoxoBruce!

I'm with Bruce on this one.

Tonchi 12-11-2006 03:05 AM

Bruce, I'm impressed. Somebody still remembers what The Cellar was supposed to be about :fingerx:

Of course, it's so simple, why didn't we all think of that? :smack: While we're at it, why can't we all just get along and bring about world peace?

Could it be that those personal attacks are cathartic, maybe even therapeutic [venting], and organic to those experiencing deep frustration? What have you done to give them an route of egress? :eyebrow:

Why not petition the Administrator to establish a "grudge match" forum in the Cellar-related section; or, start a "grudge match" thread yourself in the Cellar Meta forum. The moderating process would be simplified. All Dwellars, wherever they may be posting, will conduct their personal attacks via link from their basic post to an adjunctive attack post in the "grudge match" forum/thread. Non-compliance causing grievous violations (moderators' discretion) will result in the ENTIRE offending basic post being moved to the "grudge match" arena; or, deleted.

You can do it; but, you don't have to do it: it's up to you! :D

I really don't know what the big deal is. I lurk, posting sometimes, and see all of the dissention taking place...but it's my choice whether or not I choose to participate in it. Obviously the people that do enjoy it or they wouldn't do it, otherwise they would just choose to ignore posting and getting involved like I do. So what's the problem? That's what boards like this are for right?discussion, arguing, etc, etc? I might not agree with everything, or know enough about everything to say anything to make a difference but I know how to ignore it if it just really isn't that big of a deal to me. I don't care one way or the other about Mari and her illness, or if she's feeding everyone a load of crap...it doesn't interest me or bother me enough to get involved in it. LJ and the others can fight her all they want, if that's what they want...hell, it just gives me more to waste my time with. And, some of it is quite funny!

Bruce I'm disappointed to see you choosing sides and jumping into the middle of this argument again. Didn't work out last time and doesn't seem to be any more effective this time.

vsp 12-11-2006 02:00 PM

Man, this kind of stuff didn't happen back when Dobbs owned the board.

Happy Monkey 12-11-2006 02:11 PM

Effective or not, it needed to be said.
