I think the article claiming women talk more than men and get more of a buzz out of it, is a classic case of someone having their conclusion written before they did the study:P

My dad's always been a talker, but come to think of it, he is even more talkative since he stopped smoking several years ago. Maybe the additional gabbing is compensation for the missing cigarette buzz.
