A couple years ago I had the pleasure of helping a Marine Medical Unit(field hospital) in Afghanistan, buy their own satellite link so they could have unrestricted internet.
The Docs there had some amazing pictures and stories. Very quickly, the government squeezed them, claiming it might be mistaken for an official Marine Corps site, so they had to make it password protected access to their site.
Unfortunately I lost the site and password in a PC crash, but they've probably pulled out by now anyway.
