It makes more sense that way. ;)
I've been to a few sun dances, where a similar practice occurs on the last day (no bricks, though, but pulling from a tree). Women do it too! I can't say I fully understand it, but I couldn't deny that it was powerfully spiritual, even just as an observer. |
