I don't know anyone here, but my guess is she (?) is talking about her stepmonster, or stepmonster-to-be. You'd have to be a child of divorced or otherwise separated to get it, but no one can irritate you like the significant udder of your parental unit.

It depends.

My stepdad kicks ass. He and my mom have been married 20 years. Of course, in my case, I didn't mind him as a "father figure," given that the "sperm donor" (my father) is a tool.
