Nor do I hate americans as a race, though I do feel that they are akin to benefit fraudsers by refusing to pay the tea tax.

At the risk of being contradicted by rkzenrage, americans are not a race. Technically there is only one race of humans, i.e. the human race, which can be subdivided in all manner of ways as benefit one's desire to create various moral higher grounds. There's ethnicity, political leanings, caste, class, gender. The list goes on and on. But alas, there's just one race and we all are it.

I thought "race" was below "species".

But whatever "race" is, "American" certainly isn't one.

I'm tempted to make some sort of joke relating to 'Americans' and 'species' but I fear I've already upset Brianna enough:P

Hmm, I'll check, you may be right.

DanaC 08-16-2006 09:11 PM

footfootfoot 08-16-2006 10:00 PM

Race. Here you go. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race

JayMcGee 08-16-2006 10:00 PM

mmmm...... tbh, i didn't really want to be the first to call the yanks as a sub-species....

MsSparkie 08-16-2006 10:19 PM

This thread sure has taken a cockeyed path....do you think you can find you way back to the subject, or do you want to keep up the insults for infinity?

Subject: Lebanon's army/police cannot control Hezbolah. Therefore, we have a problem Houston. Another country under control of extremist murderers.

Yes murderers, as the allies, including Britain, did not go first into any country and start a killing spree. It was done in self defense.....and being offensive in self defense is the current status.

In other words....they started it!

A recent survey here in the US found that almost one out of five Americans wasn't even born here. Where I work it's closer to four out of five (including the boss.)

West Virginia was the only state not to show an marked increase in foreign born citizens. Can't imagine why. :D

It's those evil Canadians sneaking across the border and masking as Yanks. If it weren't for some guy over there wearing Cardigan, then that Militant Atheist Englishman over there might have taken off his coat and made things worse. Meanwhile a Monkey is not being defined as an American species in a hope that a race war might liberate Lebanon of things palpable.

Who let that pig run loose in here?

It's hard to sneak anywhere when you are wearing a bright red tunic and riding a horse......

The human race actually has three fairly good genetic groups. Although it's not totally accurate they can be reasonably generalized into what we would otherwise call Asians, Africans, and Caucasians. Of course, seeing as how we are forced to hold political correctness above all else, this is not generaly publicized and refering to it is considered slightly taboo even in scientific circles. You only hear it peak through in little bits here and there, such as health conditions that Africans are more vulnerable to as an example.

Not a *North* American species, but Brazil may take you...do not despair, Dr. Zaius.
