Well, what is the value of having good service? Chances are you can get standalone DSL from AT&T, and your connection issues will be with the isp, find one that will deal with your line provider *for* you. that's what I've done, and I am happier for it. There is a small additional charge. The standalone DSL service for Qwest is an additional $5/month, for which I have the privelege of not having to deal with them as an ISP. That's the job of my isp, to deal with qwest, and, coincidentally, provide my connection to the internet. TOTALLY worth it.

I hate AOL, too. Out here in the forgotten Four Corners, there are two choices that I've been able to find so far. AOL and QWEST. A pox on them both, although QWEST is slightly better. Once I finish paying off all my moving expenses, I'm going back to QWEST. Counting the days...

I thought you <strike>stole from</strike> used AOL exclusively because of the free hours discs.

(and for the two people who recognized what I just did, yes, I am well aware that HTML is turned off)

You can't use Roadrunner or the satellite services from there?

In that area code for CO, I count maybe 500 ISPs. Colorado ISPs for Area Code 970
