So far, from what I've seen of these touchless hand towel dispensers, I like them. Haven't encountered the TP versions yet, but they make me vaguely nervous. Something from my childhood keeps going through my head...to the tune of the theme song of the 60's TV show "Branded".

"Stranded! Stranded on a toilet bowl...
What do you do when you're stranded, and you can't reach a roll?"

That would be a crappy situation. :(

Mission critical automated technology like that really ought to have backup manual controls.
