I've seen my Grandmother make many of those chair seats. I've even seen her make a couple out of twisted strips of brown paper grocery bags. Honest.:)

So... where did the smoke come from? I can see a few whisps in the first pic.

For cryin' out loud, I do occasionally work at work...and since I don't have net at the RatCave, you might have to wait 24 or 48hrs between posts. That being said, I did take some pictures last night and over lunch will get them downloaded offa my camera and posted. Then I probably won't be back till Monday. Sheesh. Those AG guys got to you. :)

I'm going to go with fabric with little sequindy things sewn in for #1.

For #2, I'd suggest a speaker grille.

EDIT: I didn't see #3 before I posted. For that one I'm going to have to go with generic plastic child's toy, placed in the microwave for several minutes.
