I want to meet everybody, I am in love with the cellar, and all the dwellars.:grouphug:

A far from exhaustive list would include in no particular order...

UT, xoxoxoBruce, Clodfobble, LJ, Zippyt, Wolf, jag, tw, slang, rich, HM, Billy, Radar, smoothM, hot pastrami, and quite a few others...

Forks. But it happens out East. Those of us west of the Mississippi have talked at times about holding a Western Forks, but nothing has ever come of it. I imagine that being in Wisc., you might be able to make the eastern Forks. I think Wolf tends to be the organizer behind it.

Forks is not exactly a Cellar thing, but a separate event that happens to draw a number of Dwellars in the Philadelphia area.

What about a western europe meeting? :stickpoke

Well, I've already met a few of the people on the list, so does that mean I should vote for them again?

BTW, Forks is a lot of fun. I'd like to thank Wolf for inviting me a few years ago and Bob (non-Cellar) for not kicking me out.:) The first year I went was a little crazy, and the last two have been more mellow but fun.

Yes, I greatly enjoyed the last two years, but had expected a little more craziness based on hearsay from 2003.

Sounds cool, but hard to justify to Mrs RS for me to go to like Utah for a Cellar gathering. Going to a Steeler game in Minneapolis she understood. marichiko, you sound like a handful, a gathering with you would be something.

For another Forum, we had a gathering of 5 in SF. We all thought it was weird talking to people we never met in person before as if we had know them for years. One of them I still speak on the phone and go to dinner with occasionally
Later I met 3 in Chicago and 4 in Seattle. On the whole, meeting people IRL from forums has been very mixed. Never met anyone from the Cellar.

I am posting to procratinate from desparately needed filing and mailing.

There are other cool people here that have not yet been mentioned. Let me correct this injustice.

Well yeah, all of the 'I have to warn you there might be naked drunk crazy people' lectures from Wolf did lead to a bit of a letdown when we found that she was referring to the Forks of years past.

Still, the people are nice, the food is good, and there were were some very interesting moments.

i wouldnt want to meet any of you. i probably wouldnt have anything to say. but as long as i see you all in the cellar, the conversations never run dry. its not a bad thing that i dont want to meet any of you. its just that i have trouble remembering my irl friends as it is. ok thats a lie but you're all fabulous people that i never want to meet. your like nurses in a cancer ward. great people, but somethings wrong if you meet them.

After my website analysis, I figure there are about 170 "active members" at The Cellar. Lurve All You Gals & Guys!!!
