Good point :D
Then you just have to select the right species. In France people only eat burgundy snails, they have a light brown color (with garlic, parsil and butter :yum: ), so the one shown on the picture is not the one to eat, so this is french compliant :)
(BTW, people eat snails also in north africa, like Marroco, Tunisia, Algeria... and I guess in alot of other places as well)
