The Future We Were Promised

Fun for the Whole Family

This could be positively mind-blowing. It would be most effective if the neighbors worked and you could get it done before they came home. You might have to buy off a couple retirees, though, just to keep the secret to themselves, to more effectively gaslight the others.

What Would Jesus Drive?

That's right, SUV owners. You're fucking going to hell. Say hello to Satan for us.

juju 03-05-2003 10:49 PM

Heh heh heh. I just love it.

So let's see now. Who could it be that makes us drive those nasty, gas-guzzling SUV's? Who could it beee? I just don't know who it could be!

Could it beeeeeeeee.............

SATAN?!?!?

I arrived home with the intention of posting a cool site of the day link to something that we were playing with pretty much ALL night at work, in between dealing with patients. We were discussing the sense of nostalgia we felt looking at some of these classics.

Chick Tracts are an ubiquitous part of the fundamentalist landscape and they are just as much fun as ever! (Always a better find than the 'folded up $20 bill' tract, to be sure!)

Coincidence? Or is the hand of the Lord directing my mouse clicks in hopes of making the sinners repent?

Wow, I would've killed for one of those when I was a kid! Well, not really, but they're cool. Computerized sewing was becoming a big thing back in the days of the Amiga.

i hate to admit this, but i really am tempted to try it out. maybe ill make a controller cosy or something.

WOW. I know how to cross stitch already. I just need the time to do something like this!!! (If only there was a Joust graph. That was MY game. That and Robotron. Oh, and DKjr, and Pole Position and ... )

There were a couple of companies that produced official cross stitches for some pop-culture powerhouses back in the day ... I may have even bought some of the nintendo mario and luigi charts (I honestly don't remember. I'll have to try to find my big pile of cross stitching I'll never get to). I know I got some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles graphs on closeout ... and the California Raisins.

Jesse James turned one into a snowmobile a few weeks ago on Monster Garage (Discovery Channel), then raced Richard Petty (also on a snowmobile). Very cool stuff.

1/5 scale Sherman Tank

Look at the top page on the site as well. The guy has loads of free time it seems, and he looks like possibly one of our own... possibly a relative?
