Playmobil is awesome. They are one of the best toys (tied with Legos) out there for elementary school aged kids. I'm only sorry I never bought the now discontinued pimp car set for them when I had the chance.

That is Great! Only they would have thought up a pimp car. :lol2:

The inch got his first playmobil set at about three, which I think was way too early. He instantly disassembled the ambulance, scattered all the tiny parts to the winds, repurposed all the life saving equipment into rockets, guns, lasers, jets and other generally loud things. Eventually, the stripped shell of the wheel-less ambulance was all that was left, although he often walks around with the flashing lights blinking in his hand as some sort of helicopter.

That toy was great in that it bcame 100s of new toys but was never once used as an ambulance.

Does anyone else find it disturbing that the kids have that accurate a census?

I would attribute it to a higher than normal IQ.

As the mother of a kid who can tell you what order he lost his teeth and what was received for each one.... no.

Same kid got the Playmobile pirate shit when he was 3 or 4... complete with cannon balls, rats, gold coins, beer mugs... I vacuumed that shit up for months...

Most of them have names, even if the name is "scary pirate." "Mr. Blue" was the first one we got. He's 10th from the right.

Someday they can name and describe them all to their shrink.:haha:

I took that pic on 12-31-08 at the San Diego Wild Animal Park.

Cool place, I've been there, many years ago.

Happy Birthday, btw.:D

San Diego Zoo was really nice as well, when I went in 1978 with a girl friend from college.

The pirate ship is awesome... and thankfully stays at Gramma's house.
