what you say is absolutely true, but i believe the band's instrumental talents can't be argued. (of course, in my opinion too) :)

We'll see...

Isn't he schizophrenic?

elSicomoro 06-22-2005 09:21 PM

Apparently, he suffers from severe depression, but not schizophrenia.

Right this second I'm listening to Allman Bros. Dreams.

NPR, Morning Edition

I haven't listened to talk radio much since being on disability, though I actually listened to some of All Things Considered and Sean Hannity the other day.

There's a balanced diet

elSicomoro 06-23-2005 12:25 PM

When I was working, I would alternate between right-wing talk radio, NPR, CBC and BBC World Service. I'll have to see what opportunities I have at my next job, though...those days might be over.

FWIW,
npr's head honcho is Kevin Close, the former director of radio free europe. That might explain why npr seems more like the propaganda arm of corporate America than it did in the 80's.

Then again, I don't watch TV or buy much stuff so everything sounds like an advertisement to me.

The fans in the server room, competing with the buzz from the fluorescent lights. The occasional click click from the keyboard...

Wailing Souls- This is the unidentified reggae band that your stoner buddy always slid under the needle at 2:30am.
