First off, I don't know. This is a screen grab from a NSFW video in a real person's real living room. It looks industrial, maybe maritime, factory built, and not originally intended as decor.

Judging from the legs I would say it was definitely made as an end table.

Looks like a hexagonal floor lantern with blinds for directional lighting and/or wind screening. There appears to be a glass pane (or lens) in one of the frames. Can't tell if it was candle; or, electric. That could be an antiquated bulb fixture inside. Perhaps it was designed for outdoor use on a porch, deck; or, in a cabin.

Is that out of a lighthouse?

Hey Beau, good to see you.:welcome: I doubt it was designed to be a table because there's too much other shit going on, I think it's re-purposed but I can't figure out from what.
Sexo may be on the right track with adjustable light source for some purpose.

hayNow, Bruce! Thanks!
I worked for furniture companies for years, and have seen a lot of weird pieces. I think it's more of a display case type of table. It appears to be the right height for an end table, with drop down glass shelves to possibly display pieces kept inside. The top also has the hallmarks of a display table/server tray. Maybe a chairside bar?
It doesn't look sturdy enough to be any kind of light fixture of that size, and those are ferShure feet.

Looking at it again on the video where it's slightly clearer, I was wondering if that wood "shelf" with the fold down wings was added to make it useful in that setting. Although it would be a shitload easier to have just built the shelf solid, but but who knows. Since it is a NSFW video, trying to contact them would be pretty creepy. :haha:

I would be interested in seeing a clearer shot, or some different angles if you get a chance.

What video is it from?

And might not even work. Reminds me of how one of the scenes in The Kings Speech was filmed on a set that had been used for a porno previously, and when someone discovered it, hilarity ensued. The set could just be a rental location and the film makers probably don't know a thing about the furniture there.

The video is NSFW http://www.voyeurweb.com/contributio...725-striptease mild, but still NSFW.

No different angles it's just background, and I'm pretty sure it's her living room and not a set..

fargon 10-24-2017 10:43 AM

I have no clue. I looked at the video and even in focus it makes no sense. It could be a lens for a large lamp turned upside down and the small shelves could be access doors for cleaning. Fuck if I know.

That, and She Who Might Kick Yer Ass Up Between Your Shoulder Blades might kick yer ass up between yer shoulder blades if she finds out.

Gravdigr 10-24-2017 11:54 AM

All bets are off. Not America. There's no telling what it is/was.

But, she'll do. Yes she will. And she can leave her hat on.
