I'm trying to come up for a bit of air ... drowning in my own foolishness is the only way I can put it ... have been mismanaging my life much like our government, except my my ability to print money out of nothing isn't as effective. Still working at the rehab but since I'm making much less than the nuthouse paid, I'm about to default on nearly everything. I don't suppose anyone who isn't otherwise prohibited from doing so wants to buy some sporting equipment?

Good to hear from you, Pam! So sorry to hear about the truck. Glad you and your wife have stayed strong, you guys have a tougher road than most and it's good that you have each other.

The downlow on Ibby is that she kept getting offended by people's accidental (or in the case of a very few, intentional) incorrect pronoun usage, and meanwhile she was generally offending others by strong-arm advocating on trans issues at every opportunity. She's been away from the Cellar for maybe a year now, but is hopefully figuring herself out in the world, and gearing up for a return. She's left for long periods before and always come back significantly more mature, so her friends here are hopeful.

Pamela - Girl aren't you looking good! Sorry to hear about the wreck. Just glad you weren't hurt.

Poor Ibby. She should have contacted me. I do quite a bit of counselling on IRC.

I just got finished with over an hour with Verizon tech support wherein they mostly told me they don't support linux. I had to wist their arm and use various Jedi mind tricks to get them to tell me what I needed to know.

But since I appear to have access to the internet again, it's all good.

I'll try to spend more time here.
