Yes, same chassis as the big old touring car, 118" wheelbase I think.

The Caribbean was my favorite car when I was 13, but I never saw anything but a convertible. This pic is a "concept" and fooled me. You are right , it "would" have been cool. There was a hardtop in the last year of production, 1956. It also started a discussion that continues still: Is it care-eh-BE-an or ca-RIB-ee-an? I think it is the first one. |
