He is getting vitals trended as you can tell from the blood pressure cuff, he has a cardiac monitor on as you can tell from the chest leads, you can see an IV line on the left hand side, and you can see the rubber band on his left arm indicating that a nurse or paramedic is starting another line in that arm as well. The pt is about to undergo a trauma consult by the trauma team and surgeon. All before anyone even dreams of touching that knife. He is receiving proper care, the professionals are doing their jobs.
