Man, stuff like that makes me wonder. How long did they leave the installation there? How many people were still taking the stairs six weeks later?

This guy is a nut. I read the funniest story about him in Modern Drummer magazine (can't locate the issue so I will paraphrase):

Basically, he was playing this outdoor festival which was taking place in a wooded area, right by a cliff that fell off into the ocean. At one point he was playing a drum solo, and he got up from his kit and was drumming on random objects on the stage, microphone stands, etc. He slowly worked his way off the stage and, maintaining his "drum" solo the whole time, he wandered off and disappeared into the woods.

He continued, drumming on trees and rocks, etc. The audience was completely silent, on the edge of their seats. Slowly, he faded out of earshot. You couldn't hear him drumming anymore, and the audience was just sitting there, thinking "Did he fall off the cliff?!"

After a long pause, of total silence, the audience completely captivated by what was happening, he called out, from far, far away...

"I'm done!"
