Why blow dry? Will she try to rub herself dry, like dogs do, and end up getting all dirty again? Surely it's not just a pampering thing.

BigV 06-11-2012 11:21 PM

think Mt Everest.

When are you gonna get another chance to blow dry a cow, for pity's sake??!!

If you are interested search YouTube for fitting a show steer :) Its much like grooming a dog. On a larger scale of course mooo

Some time ago I had pet rats. I have since gotten a critter that's a step up on the food chain.

This is Pangur Ban, my blue-eyed fuzzball/sock stealer/acrobat/masseuse/foot and lap warmer/bug hunter/clown/snack moocher/stress reliever. Cat.

Those eyes are excellent.

That is a great looking cat!

Sundae 06-23-2012 06:48 AM

My gosh what a beaut!

DanaC 06-23-2012 07:03 AM

Lovely. What striking markings. And a perfect little cat face. If you look up the word 'cat' in a dictionary, it should have that picture next to it.

Me want kitteh! Beautiful!

DanaC 06-23-2012 07:37 AM

You think you'll get another kitteh Inf?

infinite monkey 06-23-2012 07:41 AM

Oh gosh...funny you asked.

Brother's farm cats did indeed have kittens. Darling little things. The mom is a very friendly cat.

But still, I'm not ready. As much as I want a cat I want to be sure I'm ready for that cat's lifetime commitment. As it is, I'm home so little. Cats don't need tons of attention but I'd hate to leave it alone for all the time I'm gone.

And the little things: will it be a barfer? Will it be weird about the litter box?

I guess I'm not ready. I'm not one who could ever give away a pet I took on, even if it became the height of inconvenience. I would have to love it. And I'm not sure I'm there yet.

Thanks for asking. I've thought a lot about it lately. :)

DanaC 06-23-2012 07:42 AM

You know when you're ready. *smiles*

infinite monkey 06-23-2012 07:45 AM

Yeah, I think I will. A cat who needs me will wander into my life at some point...seems to be the way it's worked before. :)

infinite monkey 06-23-2012 07:46 AM

Not to mention I know 3 dogs IRL that I want to steal. My friend K will NOT let me steal her black lab. He's a majestic creature. I kid about stealing him every time I'm there.
