But still she set out to carefully violate that arrangement.

Do I believe anything marichiko posted deserves so much hate? Not for one minute. However UT and marichiko did have this agreement. As her own post in this thread noted, she was violating the agreement between UT and herself. I found it amazing that she would both violate that agreement AND post that she was violating it. My next question was how long would it take for her to be cut off ... again.

UT is the 800 gorilla here. Like it or not, it is his board. You don't make an agreement with an 800 gorilla who does not like you - and then both violate the agreement AND tweak that violation in the gorilla's nose.

Notice - no emotion. Notice that this - what UT describes - is what I posted repeatedly with

Furthermore, notice many posters who completely ignored the logic in that post to instead attack the messenger. The marichiko problem is not limited to marichiko. Just that marichiko did two things - and notice this post is based in logical reasoning rather than any feeling: she violated an agreement with the 800 pound gorilla AND she also admitted in that post that she was violating that agreement.

I think very poorly of censorship. Moreso I think even more poorly of some reasons posted here to justify her censorship. It is totally irrelevant if she lied about CO poisoning AND it is totally irrelevant if others don't like (an emotion) what she posted. Just as nonsensical are the posts mocking the staple and a lock. I consider some of her stories to be Mr Bean adventures. The Cellar is a place where many meet people that their own biases would not permit them to discover. And as this thread proves, personal bias even to the point of hate is widespread.

But we do have other commandments more valid that anything in a bible of koran. UT is the 800 pound gorilla AND he is the reason this board is so successful. I, for one, do not care how he feels and give no credibility to his feelings. But it is HIS board and he did provide her with sufficient warning. That is the obvious logical fact that I repeatedly referred to and that so many here (while also posting personal insults) never bothered to learn, ask, or even notice. Notice it takes multiple points (and some peripheral facts) to justify his actions. And as I kept posting repeatedly,

Strange, a response to that post only resulted in attacks on the messenger rather than a reply to logic in those posts.

Why not next time (for anybody): "Three Strikes and You're Out?"

That's the rules; no discussion, from either side, pretty purleeze...

xoxoxoBruce 12-16-2006 07:50 AM

Who determines what a strike is and when it occurs? :eyebrow:

How bout tochus: "kiss mir en tochus" or "tochus enormus"?

We do say here: "amme tochus" (my butt)

Griff 12-17-2006 03:38 PM

I'll roll both of yoose up like a carpet!

Urbane Guerrilla 12-18-2006 01:07 AM

I've seen it, seriously, as "tuchis" also. There's some confusion as to how best to transliterate it -- if variation is confusion. "Kush mir im tokhes" is how I've seen it from people talking like they know.
