Prince

You got it.
Your turn!:) |
Prince played keyboard on which Stevie Nicks hit?
|
Three days...I think we're stumped.
Plus, I really wanna know this! |
Stand Back
Who wants to go? |
How odd...I love that kind of trivia.
I have one: What does a green rosetta do? Bonus: How would you describe a green rositti? |
Quote:
I know it wasn't a question to be answered, but you can't leave something like that just hanging. |
How can we get this thread moving?

I've changed my signature to a hint on this question!
|
Sorry Flint, I'm completely lost.

A green Rositti is bent over the railing saying "Mommy, my tummy hurts." (OK, It was just a shot in the dark) |
Nice guesses! But...
The answers, to both parts, rhyme (loosely) with the item[s] in question... |
guitar
bow |
"a little green rosetta, a little green rosetta, ______________,
a little green rositti, a little green rositti, _____________..." FZ |
a little green rosetta, it makes you feel betta'
a little green rositti, looks just like a wheatie? |
You got the rhyming word of the first part.
I thought there would be some Zappa fans around? |
Quote:
I like the Zap but don't know much about him. |
Actually "a little green rosetta, it makes a ______ betta..."
|
Blow Job?
|
Sure, are you good?

I forfeit. :::lets thread die a natural death:::
|
I'll go.
On most album covers, there was small print stating that so-and-so performer appears courtesy of such-and-such company. On Mott The Hoople's "The Hoople", there is a similar statement. Complete the sentence: Mick Ralphs appears ____________ |
naked? really, really stoned? Courtesy of his mother?
|
courtesy of McDonalds?
|
Courtesy of a little green rosetta?
|
no, no, no, no, and no.
Hint: Mick Ralphs appears - - / - - / - - / - - - / - - - - - - - No "courtesy" |
...appears to like Frank Zappa?
|
Sorry, that is incorrect!
Hint Mick Ralphs appears to be in _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ _ |
the bathtub?
|
Ok, the answer:
Mick Ralphs appears to be in Bad Company. Mick had just left Mott the Hoople to form the group Bad Company. |
In the Little Feat song, who is in the bathtub?
|
This is the Central Scrutinizer. As you can see, music can get you pretty fvcked up. Take a tip from Joe: do like he did, hock your imaginary guitar and get a good job. Joe did, and he's a happy guy now, on the day shift at the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen, arrogantly twisting the sterile canvas snoot of a fully-charged icing and anointment utensil. And every time a nice little muffin comes by on the belt, he puts forth...
...a little green rosetta, a little green rosetta, it makes a muffin betta ...a little green rositti, a little green rositti, it's really really neat-y |
SOME PEOPLE LIKE CUPCAKES BETTER.
I FOR ONE CARE LESS FOR THEM. |
Dang you guys know lots of esoteria.
Little Feat...dog in the bathtub? (not even a clue) |
Quote:
|
"Girl you thought he was a man, but he was a muffin! No cries is heard in the night as a result of him stuffin'..."

Finally one I know! |
What does said fat man have?
|

(Floozies in the lobby love the way I sell...) |
Bubble bath?
|
Nope but that might help.

In the Little Feat song "willin'", what does the singer ask you to give him?
|
Weed, 'whites and wine...and show me a time.
|
correct (except show me a sign)
Your turn. |
Who has sung more Bond theme songs than anyone else?
|
Nancy Sinatra?
Edit: I just saw the other thread, can I change my answer? |
I'm sorry, no use of reference material. It isn't my rule. :)
|
Sheena Easton?

(off the top of my head, Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever. I don't think that she did the Mango Tree song in Doctor No, and I'm not sure about Thunderball. The Rock Anthem Bond songs started with Live and Let Die, although Man with the Golden Gun had a more traditional (i.e., Jazzy) Bond theme. |
Wolf is correct. "Thunderball" was done by Tom Jones, BTW.
|
The third song, incidentally, was for Moonraker. I had to look it up. I stopped watching the Moore Campy/Crappy bond films. I did like The Man with the Golden Gun, because of a longstanding obsession with Christopher Lee, but Lulu did the theme for that, although she sounds a lot like Shirley Bassey.
Okay ... let's say it's 1969, and you and a friend want to enjoy three days of peace, love, and music. How much will it cost you for tickets, advance or gate, assuming you don't just bust through the fence? |
a knife in your ribs...?
Altamont...... |
That could be painful.
|
