yup. all of the lumber, the clamps i used for gluing, the dado cutter blade for my table saw, the glue, the levelers for the feet, the chisels, the nails, the butchers wax finish, etc... i'm their best friggin customer. the stain and the lid props on the chest are from Elverson supply, though.

Did you put toybox hinges on the chest?

Looks pretty good. Post another when it's painted.

I wanted to make three of the spiky tape balls, with three different color schemes, so here's the third.

And here are all three together. The color pattern really changes the look.

it's got regular brass hinges, but there are 2 supports under the lid to keep it from dropping on little fingers. you have to push the lid down to close it.
