Ideally, not likely. The whole point of raising lion cubs in human houses with human pets around is to socialise them and teach them that humans and housepets are friends, not food.
Besides, once they get bigger than a large dog, they get moved into zoos permanently, for obvious health and safety concerns. BTW: I found more recent pictures of the lion cub and the mastiff puppy. http://laree.smugmug.com/gallery/1321614/2/62342487 |
