Anyway for the record, he was murdered by his roommate, who swore it was BT that saved his life with counselling.(He truly was a substance abuse counselor at the VA here). The dude shot him twice with a 50 cal. pistol at close range. Been a couple years ago. I'll try to find the news article.

It IS true. I knew BT well. I introduced him to the Cellar. I was sorry later, but I did. I'm gonna try to find thr article and post it. You know how small town Newspapers are. I never heard another word about it after that. Carl, the guy who shot him called 911 and told them to please come help his friend that he had been shot. And hurry. He waited till the cops arrived and surrendered peacefully. I knew Carl well from the VA. He had attempted suicide a few years before and survived.

He shot himself in the mouth by the way. Crazy. VN vet. Point man for army. Only he used a 22mag on himself. He went ahead and broke out the 500 mag for old Johnson (BT).

A Laurens County man is in jail today charged with murder after the shooting death of his roommate Saturday night. According to Investigator Sgt. Brian Scarborough of the Laurens County Sheriff’s Department, Carl Adams, 58, of 585 Kenneth Hilburn Circle, is in jail and charged with murder following the death of Randall Nathan Johnson, 48, of the same address. “911 received a call in reference to a gunshot wound,” said Scarborough, adding when deputies arrived they found a white male with gun shots to the chest and abdomen. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Scarborough said although the accident is still under investigation to determine the cause of the shooting, he does know Adams called 911 asking for help after the shooting. The call to 911 indicated “his friend had been shot twice,” said Scarborough. Johnson was shot with a revolver. Adams is being held in jail with no bond.

I'm okay - I just decided to take time off because I was equally disgusted with myself and simply feeling sorry for myself. Funnily enough, without sticking around to read the advice in the I Need A Man thread, I was actually taking it. I've been working on myself.

I might not be around as much for a while yet, but I promise I am alive and well, just licking my wounds/ building up my strength. Ewww, horrid image. Like I'm getting strong by eating scabs.

Just to say - my appearance here may be anything from sporadic to non-existant for a while. Mum & Dad are arguing about money (Mum is in the right) but Dad is on his high horse about waste now. He brought up to Mum that I spend too much time on the computer, wasting electricity.

They are on an unlimited package, and I'm not the one who wants the heating on 24/4 so I can sit in just a vest.

But it is their house, and making Dad make cutbacks he is not happy about will be easier if he can see Mum and I doing the same. This will probably blow over. And if not, I'll be back when I am earning money, so that I can make a contribution to household expenses.
