Well, even though she's back to lurk mode, I want to be the first to wish my wife a Happy Birthday! It would probably be a better one for her if:
1) She wasn't going to the doctor over a broken toe and strep throat 2) She hadn't been awakened on a well-deserved day off to take our youngest to school because his brother and I forgot him when we left for work this morning 3) She didn't have to teach a class tonight 4) Most of her birthday gifts from me have yet to be delivered Despite the apparent difficulties, here's to the best day possible for my beautiful, youthful bride. |

I received some very nice gifts from some friends last night, so I'm not lacking. I also got to get my hair cut today and bought a couple of new tops, so it wasn't a total loss. Who knows what this evening will bring...maybe I'll get lucky and receive a present from Elspode after all :love: |

Sorry about disappearing for a while. Been busy with work and family stuff - went down to see my parents, brother was here for two weeks, couple girls keeping me extremely occupied. You know, the usual. But the bday celebration was a smash. I got completely shitfaced and did a stripdance, according to some of the photos on my camera. (Actually, I just found out that my friend's gf decided to mash a piece of cake in my face, and it got all over my clothes - I was taking off my shirt to clean it.) Anyway, that KTV place will probably think twice before letting me book a room again. So yet another birthday, and my first in Taiwan. Here's to many, many more festive occasions! |
