When you take a picture with a cheap camera phone it just doesn't do the rainbow justice.

monster 02-07-2010 10:45 PM

that's an awesome pic for a phone.

skysidhe 02-10-2010 09:02 AM

Thanks, but I wish it could be more awesome. It was a huge rainbow. The largest I had seen in quite some time.

More peas... 9 in the pod, the kids wanted it documented...

Clodfobble 03-09-2010 06:07 PM

Is nine an inappropriate number of peas for a pod? I have no idea.

xoxoxoBruce 03-09-2010 09:26 PM

Two is OK, three is kinky, but four is pornographic. Nine? OMG, think of the children.

jinx 03-09-2010 10:38 PM

Yeah, it's just a lot... they were all packed in there like...

One of the local bingo halls partially burned a while back. This fan was eighty to a hundred feet from the nearest flames. That's warm.

Super-heated gases collect up in the ceiling and spread out, which is why with no fire near it something up there like that fan get damaged like that a good distance from the actual flames. Notice how black the fan is but isn't seared or charred, that's heavy particle accumulation from the hot smoke that gathered up high.

I went to the butterfly exhibit at the San Diego Wild Animal Park yesterday. Took hundreds of pictures. Here are the ones I like best.

First: Same butterfly, outside and in. Anyone have any clue what kind this is? I've never seen it before.

From what I've heard, parents should pierce the baby's ears before they are one year old because they won't know the fear of the pain yet. As they are older, the piercing gun will scare them and after piercing the first ear, they would freak out to see the gun coming after their second ear.

classicman 03-31-2010 10:13 PM

Good gracious! Those are some beautiful children!

Oh, the pics are pretty nice too.

xoxoxoBruce 03-31-2010 11:21 PM
