I have since learned about the artery which runs from the rib cage, under the armpit, and down the arm (??humeral artery??). It can be severed by a cut just a few centimeters deep just beneath the armpit, and if severed, will retract inside the chest cavity and be impossible to clamp. Death in maybe 30 seconds. In prime target area. Hmmm.

I'm not sure about our top level tourneys but what I've seen has been mixed English / French. Jeff Bukanz said something about directing in French in his book. I think the idea was to increase number of available directors increase the available poolt of international directors. *shrug*
