It's a quick way to lose weight. Lost a pound in about ten minutes.

Did you know the average office worker clicks their mouse 5000 times a day? And that adds up to 7 calories burned every single day? You can eat that extra baby carrot.

Does that factor in the coloric expenditure of chewing the baby carrot?

Also, if you put calories into the baby carrot (as heat in cooking) do any of those calories carry over when you ingest the carrot? Of Course factoring in the reduced calorie expense from the softened carrot requiring less vigorous chewing.

(BTW, the above is a highly accurate depiction of me, RFN or actually RF Always. It can be exhausting inside my head. Be grateful I don't smoke dope and post, it's an order of magnitude more minutious, and less coherent with even more made-up words. Not to mention the neologisms. ;) )

I don't know. I'll have to ask 'the researchers.' Whoever they are. I heard it on the radio this morning.

I remember in HS reading you can actually lose weight chewing celery. I like celery, but it'd be way better if you could lose weight chewing, say, beef jerky.

Anyway, I'll trade you what's behind curtain number 1 in my head for what's behind door number 3 in your head.

I saw on the internet that if your beer is cold enough, you can lose weight drinking beer because it lowers your body temperature and the calories get burned heating you back up again. But then I later saw that the guys that did the math were counting a food calorie as 1 real calorie, when really, a food calorie is 1000 real calories. I can understand their confusion, but I bet that really took the wind out of their sails when it was explained to them.

note to glatt--do not flex left arm.

Oh man, if you could lose weight drinking beer I'd weigh about 2 pounds.
