Clodfobble 12-05-2019 01:23 PM

Whoa! What happened?

lumberjim 12-05-2019 01:42 PM

had an optirectomy.

see.. there's a nerve that runs from your optic nerve straight to your rectum. If you cut it, it eliminates your shitty outlook on life.

and I had a little basal cell skin cancer there.

Clodfobble 12-05-2019 03:14 PM

That's a big cut for a "little" skin cancer. My dad had one on his face and it was like two stitches.

Don't be fucking around with me and acting like it's no big deal if it was huge. Was it huge? Do you have to go back for scans, or are they certain it didn't metastasize?

lumberjim 12-05-2019 04:03 PM

It was smaller than a dime. 5mm?

They biopsied it in July and was benign common basal cell. The doctor (Greenbaum) is on the top Dr list every year. Longer cut so it heals flat.

Is ok, I'm fine. My dad gave me this skin.

This little spothttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...63b4de75ad.jpg

Sorry you have to deal with this. :(

Keep getting a regular checkup every year. When they catch it early, there’s less cutting they have to do. My wife has been three or four times for Mos surgery. Her forehead has character now.

And wear a wide brimmed hat, ok?

lumberjim 12-05-2019 05:20 PM

i was thinking it had more to do with the C-pap mask i wear. maybe the irritation in combination with the sun. I need to be better with re-applying sunscream.

Clodfobble 12-05-2019 05:42 PM

Glad you're on top of things. Stay well!
